Hearts went out to a Merseyside teacher who generously paid for haircut vouchers to donate to the children of parents who have struggled financially during lockdown.
The teacher, who wished to remain anonymous, contacted Rogues & Rascals owner Martin Langan, who has barbershops in Prescot Town Centre and Huyton Village, asking to buy four children's haircut vouchers.
They said they wanted to help families affected in lockdown, whether they have been on furlough, unable to work or have lost their jobs as a result of the pandemic.
Martin said he explained that they didn’t currently sell gift vouchers, but was told by the teacher that they simply wanted to make a "random act of kindness." ... MORE
